Louis Solis

Having spent more than half his life at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen, Assistant General Manager Louis Solis has top notch knowledge of the restaurant, hospitality, and service. Arriving at Jazz Kitchen in 2002 for a summer job at 17-years-old, Louis built his career at the restaurant.

During his 22-year tenure and counting, Louis has held various positions and worked diligently to become Assistant General Manager. Originally hired as a dishwasher, Louis quickly realized that dishwashing hours did not work with his school schedule, and he was moved to a runner. Over the course of 5 years, Louis worked as an expo, busser, and server. Upon turning 21-years-old, Louis began bartending for seven years, and simultaneously supervisor for the last two years.

Taking a step down to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a police officer, Louis attended the Police Academy. With an innate nature to serve, Louis realized he step away from his true calling. He capitalized on the next opportunity to fill a supervisor role, becoming a full-time manager in 2012 and AGM in 2018.

Truly building a life at Jazz Kitchen, Louis is married to Heather, who he met at the restaurant. The two were married at Jazz Kitchen, and have two daughters, Emilia and Brennan.
