JZK Fest Weekend Featured Artist: Christopher Trimmer

Christopher Trimmer was given his first guitar at the age of eight and quickly proved a natural talent at the instrument.  He graduated from the Orange County High School of the Arts, where he had studied jazz, commercial and classical guitar since the 7th grade. Christopher then studied at the California Institute of the Arts and accomplished a Bachelors in Music for Jazz Studies from Vanguard University. Since then, Christopher has continued his musical career by joining award winning bands playing all around the world recording with artists such as Arturo Sandoval and Robert Glasper.
